Tim Curry is phenomenal in this but this movie has not held up for me over the years. The rest of the acting falls flat, as does the execution of the fairy tale inspired story. There is very little dramatic development along the way to the expected conclusion.
Yeah, yeah.
But look how pretty it is.
Yeah, if you think the constant threat of seeing Tom Cruise's balls is "pretty."
