Better than the original, definitely better than the critics say.

Jeremy Ryan Carr said...: Better than the original? OK I'll grant you that. But the bar was set very, very low. Better than critics say? Well that's where we disagree. This movie was abysmal. The best performance in the whole film was handed in by Chi McBride. Everyone else (even the brilliant Robert Duvall and under used Delroy Lindo), to a man, were stiff and one dimensional. Giovanni Ribisi:Terrible actor. Scott Caan: Terrible actor. And yes, Angelina Jolie: Terrible actress. I have ragged on Mr. Cage in this venue already but I will not let that stop me from doing it again. I continue to give him the benefit of the doubt for two reasons: 1) Raising Arizona 2) Leaving Las Vegas. But I must say that he is one the most overrated actors, if not THE most overrated actors this side of Affleck. Why does he keep getting offers? Why does he never turn any of them down? Why did he name his son after Superman's dad? These are questions that trouble my very soul.; April 6, 2008 at 10:06 PM
