Oh absolutely. Few of the sequels have lived up to this game's greatness. I find the PSP titles especially hard to get into.
I've really wanted to try the PSP sequels, and I can't wait for MGS4. MGS2 had great graphics and decent action, but the story mostly sucked. MGS3, however, combined the best of the first and the second in my opinion.
